Privacy policy

This website, illupoo.com, is the portfolio of the artist Pooneh Nik. This page explains what information the site handles when you visit it or write to us, and what we do with it. The short version: we collect as little as possible, we do not use cookies or advertising trackers, and we never sell or share your information.

What we collect

When you browse the site. There are no accounts, sign-up forms, comment boxes or reviews on this site, and it does not set cookies. Like every website, the server that delivers the pages briefly sees technical information your browser sends, such as your IP address, browser type and the page you asked for. This is used to deliver the site and keep it secure.

Visitor statistics. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits and see which pages are popular. It does not use cookies, does not build a profile of you, and does not follow you to other websites. We only see totals, never who you are.

When you email us. If you write to hello@illupoo.com, for example to ask about a piece, a print or a commission, we receive your email address, your name if you include it, and whatever you write. We use this only to reply to you and to handle your enquiry or purchase. Messages are kept in our email account for as long as they are useful for that conversation and our records, and you can ask us to delete them at any time.

Who else is involved

The site is hosted and delivered by Cloudflare, which also provides the visitor statistics described above and forwards our email. Our email inbox is provided by Google (Gmail). These companies process information only to provide those services to us.

The fonts and images on this site are served from illupoo.com itself, so viewing a page does not send your information to font or advertising services.

We do not sell, rent or trade your information, and we do not use it for advertising.

Links to other sites

Some pages link to other websites, such as Instagram and the magazines and exhibitions listed under Press. Those sites have their own privacy policies, and this policy does not cover them.

Children

This site is not aimed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by writing to hello@illupoo.com. Depending on where you live, for example in California, the European Union or the United Kingdom, you may have further rights under local law, and we will honour them. We will reply within 30 days.

Changes to this policy

If the way the site handles information changes, for example if we add an online shop or a mailing list, we will update this page and the date at the top.
